What to expect on the food front?
Expect fine dining that is accessible to everyone. Executive chef Jean Delport explains that diners can look forward to “flavours that explode and dishes that could be art.” His cuisine marries classic with modern contemporary, whilst retaining a South African influence.
Diners can choose between the à la carte menu and the tasting menu. Ingredients will be fresh, local and seasonal. The menu will be changed regularly.
Diners can also look forward to dishes complimented by the right wines. This is a food lover's dream, one that the chef plans to realise here in Somerset West. “We want to develop food that matches the style of wine,” says Delport. Wine and food, food and wine, it’s a match made in heaven!
