Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate’s fabulous seasonal pop-up restaurant has recently reopened in the spectacular Benguela Manor House and will be open until the end of April 2017. Set in the opulent ambiance of Benguela Manor, Chef Annie Badenhorst has created a succulent menu which complements the beauty of this Walker Bay estate and its wines.Surrounded by the estates olive groves, lavender fields, lush vineyards and boasting with a panoramic view of the Bot River Lagoon, Walker Bay - this restaurant is guaranteed to set the scene for a tranquil and relaxing summer-dining experience.
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate’s unique terroir and favourable maritime conditions ensures quality grapes which, coupled with the skills of the winemaker, produce our award-winning wines. Our Benguela Cove and Matilda’s Secret ranges include single cultivar wines and blends produced from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc.
The Pop-up restaurant showcases the beautiful Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate during peak-season. Due to the popularity of the pop-up restaurant previous years we recommend prospective guests book well in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
Guests are invited to enjoy either a 2 or 3-course meal prepared by executive chef Annelie Badenhorst and will be treated to the estate’s own award-winning wine selection - carefully paired with the menu by our sommelier. Alternatively, guests are welcome to convey their own preferred alcoholic beverages (Champagne, MCC or spirits).
