Our restaurant is currently situated at the Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, with its far reaching views over the Bot River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. A natural biosphere that will take your breath away.
Moody Lagoon’s kitchen is the domain of Namibian born Executive Chef Annie Badenhorst, who is classically trained in French cuisine. The young chef uses her love of all things fresh and natural to create an outstanding South African dining experience which is casual during the day and more elaborate at night. Chef Annie’s foods are all carefully paired with the beautiful artisan estate wines produced by our winemaker Johann Fourie.
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate’s unique terroir and favourable maritime conditions ensures quality grapes which, coupled with the skills of the winemaker, produce our award-winning wines. Our Benguela Cove and Matilda’s Secret ranges include single cultivar wines and blends produced from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc.
We offer private dining in our vinotheque for up to 12 guests with a combination of exceptional food, superb wines and outstanding service.
Breakfast: 8am – 10.30am Saturday & Sunday
Lunch: 12pm – 3pm Monday – Sunday (7 days a week)
Dinner: 6pm – 9pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Casual Sharing Platters served 11am – 4pm daily (7days a week)
