Chef Jean Delport takes over Decorex at the CTICC by Kevin Kroese

Catch culinary genius Jean Delport, from Benguela on Main live in action, where he will be showcasing his love for flavour, texture and his passion for culinary arts. Jean will be entertaining visitors with his master chef skills at the Decorex exhibition, held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Jean’s taking over the CTICC this year with his spectacular masterpiece, The Apple Orchard.  From inception to execution, visitors will be able to marvel at the skill which goes into creating elegance on a plate. The green apple parfait, goats cheese snowball, honey and pollen, is then marvelously rounded off with a glass of Paul Cluver Close Encounter Riesling 2016.

Over 200 exhibitors will be hosting a series of demos on decor and DIY projects at Decorex, as well as artisanal craft & create markets and vendors selling various merchandise. And as always, live music will keep the day festive at the Centre. Head over to Decorex as this year’s ideal ideas and inspiration exhibition.

On Saturday 18 June, the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016 gala awards ceremony took place in Switzerland and Benguela on Main was named the winner of the ‘Eclectic (International) Cuisine’ award.
